About Barbara
Barbara Parker is an interior design professional and entrepreneur whose career spans decades of creative and community leadership. She founded and grew a thriving greenhouse and nursery business, and brings advertising, publishing, and community leadership experience to the Foundation.
Her nonprofit board service across Kent County, MD is a testament to her deep dedication to giving back — serving on boards including Washington College, the local hospital, the animal shelter, and the Art League.
As Co-Chair of the Parker-Jenick Foundation, Barbara helps guide the organization’s mission to bridge the gap between housing security and physical health.
